>>125171638I'm understanding of that sentiment where the style of comedy of the old show just isn't going to appeal to everyone. Even at the time the complaints about the show's attempt to compare it's self to older looney tunes makes it a really annoying show to sit through.
That being said, the strongest parts of the series over all is the combination of the right collection of people coming together and making very timeless shorts regardless of pop-culture referances.
The reboot was dated before it even premired and even when all the magic parts are put together to make something good, there's usually ONE element to the episode that ruins it. The only people who talk about the reboot now are the die hard fans but casuals gave up on this series fast.
I'd rather hear people say ALL of animaniacs sucked, then someone say "i grew up with the old series, and THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER." yeah, fuck you, shill.
