So, ignoring all the various retcons, reimagining, redefining, etc etc, if we stop and think about them as they originally started out before Marvel went nuts with them, can we all agree that having a symbiote would actually be pretty fucking rad? Sure, there's a risk you may get a bad one, and you may occasionally run into issues feeding it, but overall risk vs reward, I'd say the benefits of being bonded with a symbiote greatly outweigh the downsides. The host typically affects the symbiote more than the other way around, so as long as you yourself aren't a fucking sociopath murderer, you could reasonably influence your symbiote to just be cool, and enjoy all the benefits of having one with little trouble. Tell me, what would you do with a symbiote if you had one of your very own?
