Also, as someone who hasn't read the comics, the entire thing startgiving off heavy DBZ vibes in terms of Omni Man's origin. Had him pegged as either a conqueror or suppressor for a larger force well before the episodes got around to that. Had the initial "maybe he was controlled" thoughts during the attack and even a bit after the Mars episode, but always suspected there was a lot more going on. The last few episodes really left me with an "Okay, so Goku remembers what he's supposed to do, but Gohan might turn him into an actual good guy next season" feeling.
