They asked if they could reveal anything about the Jodie spinoff, and apparently, it's not even happening anymore, but rather, a Daria reboot; an ACTUAL, tried and true Daria reboot, currently titled "Daria and Jane"
The employee had this to say:
>"Basically, almost two months ago, we made a 7-minute pilot for Jodie, and reception by our focus group was rather mixed, much to our surprise. We tried not to be too hip and trendy, cause we know that wouldn't go well, but it still didn't work. One person then said that Daria would've been able to mock the Gen-Z culture better. We showed the pilot to as many people as we could, and they essentially agreed with that opinion. So, some of us talked it over, and now the Daria spinoff with Jodie is gonna be a true Daria reboot.
>Daria and Jane has currently been picked up for two seasons. They plan on getting as many members of the original show as possible, they primarily are trying to get four certain people on board: the two co-creators, Glenn Eichler and Susie Lewis Lynn, and Daria and Jane's voice actors, Tracy Grandstaff and Wendy Hoopes.
