>>124472166>>124472177You sound like a simpering pussy. Maybe this book is for you? I knew a lot of kids, from a lot of different social and economic backgrounds that were all expected to go to college straight out of high school, and while they also had varying relationships with one or both parents, almost NONE of them had an issue with their parents wanting to get involved in them choosing their path, either for school or major. College? That shit is scary. Your parents actively trying to help you? Not scary.
Now, if she articulated to her mother, clearly and plainly, that she wasn't sure if she wanted to go to college at all and Starfire pressured her over it, I could see where there'd be some major friction. But again, this is clearly a parent trying to help and understand their child while being involved in their future.
I hope that all of you who got so horribly pressured by your parents made the right decisions, because man, there's a lot of people like
>>124472178 who would have KILLED for that kind of input and interest.
