I just wanted a show about a headstrong human girl being taught by a rebel on-the-run witch on an island full of creepy monsters and dark magic.

Why is it so hard for these fantasy shows like Star, Steven, and Owl House to focus on the fantasy aspect and not devolve into relationshit drama.
