>>124240630As someone who grew up in an era where fucking everybody and their dog hated the kids characters in action cartoons from the hangers on in transformers to that fucking annoying shit in the two Ninja Turtles episodes, it baffles me that there are either paid shills or outright idiots who will defend annoying out of place children characters(As long as they're the right gender or race) PSA's(As long as they talk about the right things) and remakes/reboots(So long as they change things to add more black people or lesbians), we shit on those things for decades for being lazy, annoying sections of media that were made either because they were piss easy to write for idiots, preaching from a company doing some terrible shit that wants idiots to think they care, or lazy rehashes of properties that showed hollywood had gone to shit.
I never met anyone defending garbage like the annoying kids in B.O.T or remakes of The Fog but thanks to this I know some spineless motherfucker out there would have, and I'm just depressed they didn't stay quiet.
