Shang-Chi’s father is probably going to resemble the Mandarin even less than Slattery. Probably won’t have any Makluan connection. It’s still crazy to me that they wasted Iron Man’s archenemy because “subvert for lolz.”

I don’t even know why they went with that storyline for Iron Man 3, when it didn’t resemble it at all. I mean, the animated show about teenage Tony Stark was far more representative of it even though his age and setting was different. I think this was really the start of MCU writers not even attempting to try.

I believe when used together you can use any of their powers as one, but they do each have distinct abilities. I believe that scene with the slowed-down water is showcasing one. Likely him slowing down time, or water manipulation itself.
