You know when it inevitably bombs it's going to mean the end of any attempt at a live action Superman movie ever again for at least another twenty years.
The worst part is whenever somebody tries to make a new Superman movie where he's the classic clark kent version of the character. The politically vocal people are going to scream at WB for pandering to the alleged 'racists' who didn't go see this black Superman. Just like they are now for Ghostbusters Afterlife. Only the backlash, controversy, and anger will be much much worse than it was for the all female Ghostbusters because nobody really gave a shit about a Ghostbusters sequel decades later. But people still surprisingly give a shit about superman even though he hasnt been relevant in comics or movies in years.
