>>123859327He is right. 90% of the episodes even in season 1 had a point to them thematically, they had something to say, and they were self contained stories, which of course helped. I'd say only Malevolence trilogy was kind of hollow thematically, just action adventure story without anything more, except Plo Koon admitting that the clones were not expendable to him. The Bad Batch is just vapid adventure shit, and boring adventure at that for the most part. Stuff just happens, plot moves, but what's the point? This show so far has said nothing, and it's incredibly deaf to the themes established in the previous show, regarding the clones especially. This show does not care whatsoever about the clones, our protagonists don't give a shit about clones, they despise the "regs" and look down on them, and they are killed off unceremoniously by the protagonists, and often for the laughs, like in todays episode, even after finding out about the inhibitor chips and experiencing its effect first hand, but it had no consequence whatsoever.
