>>123836975Because, like Vaush claiming that cops should avoid violence because that's how the heroes do it in Marvel movies, your average Leftist has no actual real world experience. All of their life has been spent in front of one form of screen or another. They're trapped in a kind of Pavlovian cycle, forever suspended between the hopes of going viral and the terror of being cancelled.
Take note of accompanying quote by yon mailbox-detonator and mass murdering terrorist uncle Ted. Your average Leftist know that xie is essentially unessential to society. When they do have jobs at all it's either serving lattes, delivering food or maybe, if they went to uni and got that piece of paper, they work at some kind of online magazine where they write articles about their growing Funko pop collections or how Link from the Legend of Zelda is actually an aromantic, nonbinary transman(I don't know what any of those words mean, I just copypasted them from from the official NICKjr. twitter account.)
Their lives are frighteningly empty. They obsess over pop culture like it's a religion, because they've removed any idea of God or transcendence from their lives. They refuse to have children because that would be harmful to the environment, so they're never able to escape their self-obsession by having someone in their pitiful lives more important than they themselves. But they need purpose, like everyone. So Leftism and it's promises of that utopia eternally over the horizon lures them in easily. Hey, it's not my fault I'm a laughable loser, it's THE PATRIARCHY!
TLDR; full-grown losers with Peter Pan syndrome mistake media shadow puppetry for reality and imagine themselves as virtuous, unsung heroes, despite never having to take any actual risks or having to take a real stand on anything.
