First of all the venom movie was trash. Should've gone with the Thing (from outer space) story but inside the spaceship where anyone could have the symbiote and it was basically a horror movie which is gay because we will never get a battleworld adaptation with the actual origin but whatever.

Second of all even if that's not where they went Venom as a lethal protector can be its own thing without Spider-Man and its enough to draw hype
