>>123704616I’ve been reading through it with a few other people (they know who they are because I know they use /co/, broadly speaking) and it’s a train wreck. We finished up issue 8 a few days back and it’s permeating through my head still, i can’t fully process it.
The entire comic is a poorly drawn exploration of someone’s soul and it feels vile looking through it, as though it’s radioactive and I’m flipping through the pages as my DNA melts. I don’t want to know anything about Chris/Christine. Everything I know about them I learn against my will. But this comic is giving me a more intimate look into someone than I’ve ever been comfortable with.
While I’d recommend reading other “bad” internet comics like tails gets trolled with people only do that with Sonichu if you’re ready for the dive. It’s uncomfortable, it’s vile, it’s racist, sexist, transphobic, homophobic, and reader phobic in a way that isn’t even based. We haven’t even gotten to the part where Chris/Christine “cures the gays” by injecting “those homos” with his blood. Wish us luck because I personally don’t think I can finish the comic without it.
