Was it really that bad? I heard some pretty vicious stuff when it came out and avoided it like the plague, but now I'm looking back with zero information on the actual, show and curious if its worth a peak.

All I know about this series was people getting set off by April & Casey Jones being turned into black chicks, and the Turtles seemed to have the same personality.

I actually quite dig the new looks for the turtles, except for Leo, I felt the markings on his body should have been the same color as his headband like the others, having those two brighter colors on him sorta clashed his blue. And I find Cassandra's head to be kind of a weird shape. I dunno, maybe its that her forehead and cheeks stick out a little too much, or that her chin's too flat. I like the general concept but I felt her design needed one more draft to really work.
