>>123512946I personally think you should watch the whole thing. I've seen a list of "nonfiller" episodes floating around here that cuts out a lot of important world building and character development mixed in with the slice of life shenanigans.
Anne's growth over the course of the first season is those "filler" episodes. If you cut those out then Anne's development during the first season is completely nonexistent.
These episodes aren't like townie episodes of Steven Universe. They actually add to the story and are pretty fun.
It's sort of like how Cowboy Bebop is mostly episodic content that gets us attached to the characters, their dynamics, and the world. If you cut the "filler" out of Cowboy Bebop it wouldn't be Cowboy Bebop.
Watch the whole show and even if you aren't into the frog adventures aspect of it you will at least appreciate what these episode set up.
