Desu season 1 is weaker overall. It found its footing later on but the first 10 or so episodes of that season are some of the weakest in the series I think.

Despite that, the only episode of the series that I think was genuinely bad was the one with Eddy's middle name. It was just kind of a weak premise and nothing really interesting happens in it.

Never really liked the series. Compared to other Cartoon Cartoons of the time, I reckon Johnny Bravo, PPG, KND, Billy & Mandy to be much better and more entertaining.
Maybe, Ed, Edd n Eddy was an American thing.

Eh like I said it got better later on, I just consider the first handful of episodes to be pretty weak. I personally love how much more meta the show got as it went on, but I understand that it's a matter of taste. Seasons 3 and 4 had some absolutely hysterical breakdowns of the general premise.
