To be fair, no one does. Frankie seems like the cool adult in charge of a fancy house when you're a kid. Later, as an adult, you realize she's an overworked 20-something adult who doesn't have much of a love life and tons of responsibility. Mac is literally all she has and he's a 10-year-old boy.

Yeah, honestly she was sweet and nice to talk to but at that point I was already thinking about graduation the next year, and she was just adjusting to high school.
