>>122755328Most are good, some are legit amazing, and some are meh. All of the "bad" episodes are bad relative to the rest of the show, but not really bad in the grand scheme of cartoons. Because even if an episode isn't well written, they're all animated quite well. Even the backgrounds are pleasant to look at. There's also the fact that most of Disney has, for a while now, been quite "sterile" with their media, and especially with their mascot. Yet for some reason this cartoon was kind of allowed to go nuts with its depictions of the characters. It's not an edgy 90's reboot
with pointy elbows and lots of lightning, but the characters actually have some sass and spunk to them, which makes the show funnier imo. IE, the characters are actually allowed to have character, they're not just soulless mascots.
All 5 seasons of the original show are on Disney's Youtube channel, so you can watch them for free easily. They recently rebooted it, and the first season finished up in December. A new season is coming out in the summer with the same voice cast, save for Russi Taylor who passed away. So far though, Minnie's new voice has been pretty close to the original.
Part of me is sad I didn't discover this cartoon earlier, but at least it's easier to watch them all now, and there's more coming in a few months.
>>122755507There are other cartoons where I definitely feel exhausted after watching them, even if they're only 5 minutes long, but I'd argue these Mickey Mouse shorts are well paced. In most cases, I don't think the shorts would benefit from more time. It's very much a "cartoon", not a series that builds lore over a season or something.
