However, as bad as an experience that it was for Knives, I think it definitely was key for her growth as a person. Her journey towards a sense of confidence and self-acceptance, while a bit rushed in the movie, was a component of the story as much as Scott and Ramona's.

That said, I think Lisa is better off chasing her dream in Hollywood and Kim is finding herself than dating Scott.
