>>122668723>Early volume 1Kind of cringe but also soulful in an anime kid way
>Confrontation and the following chaptersHilarious anime melodrama
>Augustus and Tess arcsThings started getting kind of good around this point. Decent-ish art and more coherent plot.
>AcapulcoThe high point starts. Story breaks interesting ground and the art approaches its peak (which is not that great but still).
>Lucy Suffering ArcIt drags at some points, but ultimately one of the best parts of this shit comic. Taeshi actually knew how to write things like drama, introspection and character development back then
>December through Lucy disappearingWatercolor era starts, everything is pretty good here, albeit Lucy's disappearance is kind of rushed
>post Lucy disappearance through Happy HourThe comic starts to lose focus without the main protagonist there, but some of the better chapters came out of this period. Happy Hour might be the last really good chapter we ever got.
>the Paulo show (chapters 81-90)We enter the period of stagnation and decline. Meandering back and forth with no clear point, half-heartedly developing Paulo but not doing much with it. Practically becomes a slice of life comic. There's some decent stuff here but the decline is evident. Nupolo, retcons and worst of all, chibis appear here
>89-94 or soStrangely a brief uptick in quality occurs. Chapters range from decent to actually interesting. The Paulo show is over and it seems like we're finally getting back to the main plot and character drama again. The chibi art is at it's worst and Taeshi abandons watercolor, but in terms of story it seems things might finally be looking up
>Chapers 95-NowAnd then the ketchuping happened. Lucy's return seemed initially promising but fell flat on it's face and ushered years of low effort crap, inconsistent shit writing, once-a-week updates, retcons and character assassination. The Fuck Mike show
