I consider the black-on-red variants in the corner superior to the final version and the robo-Hater in the second row is badass but most of these have too much going on visually or have other issues>fucking five of them have this weird fixation on a boomerang-shaped helmet which looks dumb and clunky; another one (next to TWICE AS MUCH BLOOD AS HATER) basically does the same thing with its tiny little head>fucking prune Hater with pigtails on the third row down, ugly as sin>version next to the near-final ones in the corner looks like a jobber, unthreatening visible face and small stature with a big focus on legs as opposed to the top-heavy nature of the final ver.>three versions (lower left, upper right corner) have a King Mighty One-Eye look about them with a creepy blood-red face and shit, which looks cool but is otherwise overkill IMO
But the big running issue with all of these is that they were operating under the assumption that Dominator needed to emote/be scary with the armor on. They all give her eyes or a mouth, like there would be these big extended sequences of her acting out while wearing it.
The show renders this concept redundant, because all of Dominator's best scenes are when she's disrobed. She doesn't need a big bad suit of armor to convey the fact that she's a sick, deranged asshole; she gets that across extremely well just by talking and emoting the way she does. As a result, the armor becomes more of a utility thing (hence the "game face" shtick she adopts in the show); and so you get the version that ended up in the show.
