Superman? Sure. Spiderman? Also possible. Hell, even Captain America can be made to work well.
It's just that these characters who's stories are extremely focused on either their very specific personal issues (Batman, Ironman, Hulk etc.) or on their extremely specific and one of a kind origin/birthright (Thor, Martian Manhunter, Orion) don't translate to literal legacy characters well. I would far prefer if it was handled usually as a legacy manifesting in a new character that is caring similar ideals or even a similar aesthetic, but not literally the same name.
