>>122554795>>122557877>>122559896hard disagree, without the lips it just looks wrong like one just transplanted their original 5 year old selves heads onto teenage bodies, the lips are needed to add an element of physical maturity to their faces that is otherwise not really possible to add if you're staying on style since you can't change their head shape and they don't really have any other facial features besides their eyes and mouths to tweak for that purpose either(and the eyelashes and hair don't really change enough by themselves either)
I do agree that the specific execution on their lips is lacking though, it's the same issue a lot of shows have with drawing visible lips, when you do it you need to give them depth, shading, and volume(even if your show's style is normally lacking in those)
>>122560084>Indeed. The episode was indirectly ripping on fan-fiction about the serieswhich ended up resulting in the episode being a boring mess since they spent more time being petty over fanfiction than actually coming up with any actually funny jokes or entertaining action(though boring episodes was kinda a running problem with the Savino helmed seasons), shame too cause both the "PPG as Teens" and "Professor Utonium and Sarah Bellum get Married" ideas could have worked just fine as full episodes if played more straight and not as parody(the one with the PPG as babies would have been shit no matter what, just like the episodes where the PPG were just regular girls or the one with them in the Wild West were)
