>>1223999941. The fact that Ben switches aliens implies the ‘switch’ still happens within linear time, and in the show we can clearly see Ben’s body taking time to switch to his other forms. Hal’s ring is canonically an extension of his consciousness which has been stated to be extra-dimensional, able to easily grow past and create universes such as in the story willworld, with universes in DC literally being stated to exist in infinite dimensions. The fact that Hal has much more experience dealing with his imagination and his willpower, not to mention his feats being beyond linear time unlike Ben’s which work within linear time, is not a good thing for Ben. Even Ben’s aliens devoted to manipulating time still works within time, just jumping from one end to another. There is no statement of any character ‘surpassing’ any sort of hyper-dimensional time like Hal does.
2. The failsafe doesn’t work since Hal should be faster than the failsafe and can overpower any Alien the failsafe could make Ben transform into.
3. They were using prime-timeline Ben who had all his feats after Omniverse. Ben being young was simply an animation choice.
4. Hal’s willpower is endless and the power of the ring is only a limitation to someone’s ability to use their willpower. Hal is able to use his willpower to an extent that even exceeds the central battery, and he was even able to kill someone possessed with the personification of all will in the universe with his own willpower.
5. Hal still beats Alien X and any other Alien Ben can use.
6. Hal still wins because of reasons listed above.
