As is, I don't think I tend to agree with him politically, but I love Serenity, and see nothing wrong with it as it is so far. Far from it, it's one of my favorite comics ever. If he introduced the notion that to be a good person, you have to follow his political beliefs (exceedingly common with people in recent years) it would be a real tragedy.
Just going to put it out there. Ms. Baxter isn't a good person. Lori seems like she's trying not to be a lesbian, and if she has those feelings, I hope she works them out and becomes straight (hot take nowadays, I know, but it's the correct one, I'd say, as I'm a Christian myself). Things like that. I hope that's the real reason why he needs the correct format to continue the story, because unabashed Christianity would get you cancelled nowadays.
