>>121809804>Which meant jackshit because Spongebob was in a ratings lull and Nick had just premiered its biggest hit in yearsYou seem to imply the same series debuted at the same time, when in reality there's a three year gap between TTG and Loud House. That's three years of dominance before the Loud House debuted if we even accept the premise that LH dethroned TTG.
On that note, looking at the ratings for the time period, Loud House didn't "leave TTG in the waste side" for quite a while.
TTG started in 2013 and Loud House in 2016.
During 2016 TTG consistently cracked 2.0 and Loud House usually hovered around a 1.50, which isn't exactly leaving TTG in a trail of dust.
During 2017 TTG weakened a bit with some episodes dropping below 1.00 for the first time but also hitting 1.90 a couple times. LH was in the upper 1.70s most of the time.
It's not until 2018 that TTG starts really weakening relative to Loud House with most episodes at or below 1.00 and LH maintaining about a 1.50.
That's about 4 years of dominance on top of the ratings, not bad for a comedy reboot of an action show. The real failure is that CN could not find another show to supplant TTG by the time it started to decline, which is why we're left with a schedule devoid of anything but TTG reruns and cheap filler.
