I honestly didnt care as I wasnt really into MCU stuff then. Even as an adult most marvel movies to me are a 6/10 with the exception of Dr. Strange and guardians of the galaxy. I did get into Marvel comics into my late teens and enjoy them though.

In the Before Times the Avengers were kind of obscure to normies. I knew that the Avengers were Marvel's Justice League.

This. Fury after Ironman was a nice little nod to the comics and would have been just a cool little after credits scene if that was the only movie in the MCU. Having Fury show up again in the end credits of Captain America is what started to get me excited about the movies since it started to seem like they where building up to something big. Thor really drove it home that they where serious about an Avengers movie.

That’s cool, probably not going to happen. Also i thought it would be impossible to have black widow Hawkeye and captain America on the same team as iron man and hulk. I thought Thor was going to be hard to adapt too. I thought the avengers were going to be hulk, iron man, war machine and some other characters who were more “realistic”.
