I have my problems with her writing (all the scenes with Wanda/Vision together are good; all the S.W.O.R.D. scenes are not) but I honestly don't think it's her job to care about the comics. Most of what Feige does is give the writers a few basic premises from the comics and tell them to go make up a new story around it.
So he gave her "Wanda creates her own reality" (House of M), "Vision's wife will do anything to keep her suburban paradise from falling apart" (Vision), "Scarlet Witch is a title for witches" (Robinson's Scarlet Witch) and "actually Wanda's power is chaos magic" (Busiek's Avengers), and told her to do all that but replace the House of M reality with sitcoms.
>>121503830...I really truly don't think she seems down and uninterested in interviews because she's sad about having her own mega popular show or finally becoming a star after years of minor roles.
Probably she's just exhausted from rushing to finish this series in a pandemic and then doing press while filming Doctor Strange 2 every day.
