Basically, there was a norm. You either followed the norm, or you just got ignored. People deny this, but it was true to a degree. People got mad because they felt creativity was being stifled. A few named people were being blamed for this.
Then there was the fact people were making too many goddang kids, people were mad they were just being used for shipping and sex.
And ultimately, people took personal offense. Most of the CCs left the threads for discord. Private 'hugboxes', allegedly. Because they were being called out for one of these in the threads. There was a lot of name calling, leaks, doxxing, ect out of wounded personal pride.
The threads survived, but just barely. Then one day, some guy got so ass blasted he decided he was going to post gay porn on every thread. And eventually people stopped making the threads.
