>>121387811>GoldieI know that many will not like what I am going to say and that this will be an unpopular opinion in these threads about Goldie O'Glit in Ducktales 2017.
Although at first she was good, afterwards I didn't like how they made her desperately and I don't love her. I have friends in the Duck fandom who love her and that version and I don’t mind her being drawn and written about fanfiction related to Scroldie, and I respect that, but I stick to my position.
Although she is an adventurous woman, she has been made to look like Catwoman and to be exploited by Scrooge to her advantage and still steal gold. If so, why didn't she become a villain? In OG Ducktales and comics, even though she took gold from Scrooge, she still did it to get revenge on Scrooge, and not to forget about him, and she was a dancer, but a pleasant woman, while in reboot, she steals for pleasure.
Like relationship between her and him, I don’t know, it could have been done without it, as if it was a surplus, and yet they had to do it because of the fandom. Besides, she should be a grandmother, with gray hair, and not the same woman who looks like a 40-year-old woman, not over 100 years old. She used to be a good and more feminine person, this way it turns out that she is masculine. Disgusting.
Too bad Goldie wasn’t played by the actress who plays River Song in Doctor Who, it would be a good thing to see Scrooge between Goldie and Magica. And she would probably be a better woman than they portrayed her to be in that show.
Besides, I’ve heard that Goldie won’t show up again, although she could in the finals, but I’m not sure. Feel free to spit on me and attack me, but I stick to my position. Sorry about this.
