>>121136760Debatable, Kim definitely has the girl power angle going but it's not in an aggressive and hateful way like modern producers want it. Both leads being white is probably the biggest hurdle, I'd say bare minimum they'd want Kim or Ron race flipped or another main protagonist added like they did in that shitty live action movie. Also it seems unlikely the Possibles would get to be a nuclear family.
As far as the show's tone it would be hard to get something like this made today, most "action" cartoons are soft as hell to the point where by today's standards Kim Possible would be edgy since she mostly solves her problems with violence and her villains, ridiculous and self defeating as they are, are actual antagonists, most of which don't have anything like a tragic justifying backstory or anything and Kim and Ron don't try to negotiate or reform them. It's just a completely different tone and rules of engagement from any show on today.
Also I don't think modern writers could do Ron well, he was a goofy comic relief sidekick but he also was a vital member of the team and got plenty of moments in where he defeated villains or outdid Kim. He was basically a self insert for awkward kids, modern writers would hate him and constantly make him out to be an asshole and there's no way you'd get him as a monkey kung fu master or anything like that in a modern remake.
