Ragnarok is the only MCU movie where Hulk is explored as a character, we get to see a full personality, his insecurity over Earth and his childish bullying of Thor. Avengers 1 did good too, AoU just made him a big angry gorilla and they did him dirty in IW and EG. It feels like Hulks personality has been erased in Endgame completely and that Banner is just using his body

I think the MCU dealt with the whole "Angry" emotion wrong. It should be about a man with Hulk anger in his heart. The kind of guy who flips a table for almost no reason.

Bane should be a scared cat, with immense guilty and constantly running away from any meaningful relationship with people and hulk should represent his pent up anger.

Banner, and yeah that's pretty much Norton's hulk from the movie before he got replaced with Ruffalo. He's scared of the Hulk and trying to cure himself of it, because who wants to turn into an out of control monster that destroys everything around you and hurts the people you love?
Shame they recast and only allude to the events of that film later on, I liked it.

What they did to Hulk was the biggest middle finger they could've given him. Not only did they make him job to Thanos, they put him out of commission and made sure we could never get a cool Hulk fight scene again.

I feel like that was the logical conclusion for his character, however I agree it sucks we never got to see it happen. The timeskip sorta just glossed over that part. It'd be nice if we see it eventually, perhaps in flashbacks in the She Hulk series maybe?

Making Banner comic relief in IW/EG was cringe. The bow in Wakanda, "Hulk penis lololol" in Ragnarok. It was a huge disconnect from Banner telling people he shot himself and Hulk spit it out.

Yeah, it would have been great if he had to tap into the Hulk's personality/hulk out more when he snapped with the Stark gauntlet.

I think there's room to develop him into Joe Fixit.
Think about it. Banner is fixed now. He's become one with the Hulk. He's got no problems. But then, what if he starts getting a little bored?
Maybe Hulk decides he deserves a bit of a break after saving the world. Maybe he goes to Vegas. That Hulk confidence causes him to run up a huge tab, the owners of the casinos cut him a deal. He can work off his tab by being a bouncer for a bit.
As he gets into sleazier work, his personality starts to shift a bit, his skin tone goes greyer. Boom, you've got Joe Fixit.

disney did that on purpose because they are butthurt they can't use hulk for solo movies and have to pay universal for the team up movies.
and because ruffolo is a spineless cuck with an annoying voice he's fine with that.

No, Banner adopted some personality traits from Hulk as part of the "merge". Banner would have never told Thor "Get your hands off me", or gotten angry enough to grab and throw something like in the lake scene. You could also argue that being so bold as to attempt to take the time stone by force was also something Banner would have never done either.

But overall, Hulk is gone, yes.
