>>121097418Depends on the powers, obviously. But if I can figure out a way to help people I will.
If I am, like, Superman level powerful? I'll have a busy schedule. Some time set aside to work with scientists to both try and figure out HOW my powers work, and also if there is anything that only I can do that would be of major benefit to scientific research or helping the planet. Lifting something too heavy to launch into space, or using laser vision to blast atoms apart for science. That sort of thing. Honestly, there should probably be a whole building of scientists, economists, etc whose full time job is to come up with a list of shit that I can do that would have the most positive impact for the most people.
I'll also have a weekly appointment at the UN where countries can petition or argue for specific interventions. I'm from the US, but I'll do my best to try and ignore that bias. I'm not saying thats going to be a clean process, and I'm certainly not going to obligate myself to do something I don't agree with. But I can't help out with problems I don't know about.
In free time? I'll try and hold court. Just pick a city somewhere in the world and drop in for a couple hours and do requests. I can't be everywhere, but I can give people a chance to let their voices be heard and help out PEOPLE, not just governments and other organizations that already have influence and power.
There going to be a lot of hesitation to do shit at first, simply because I don't know everything I need to know to get involved with global politics on this scale. That's why I need a building full of experts I can trust who can research shit for me and give me recommendations. Its going to be stressful, but if I have that kind of power to help humanity I'd feel obligated to try and make sure it doesn't go to waste.
