For one thing, getting rid of Slappy Squirrel was just an abomination, one of the best characters created by one of the actual female creative powerhouses behind the original.
I will give you that nobody gives a shit about the fat hippo and Mindy and Katie Kaboom are rightly despised by all, but Rita is fine. Maybe you'd have to recast her with a new Broadway powerhouse like Idina Menzel or something, do it. It's better than the shit we got instead.
Also while Minerva Mink isn't brilliant or anything at least she was a recurring character with a wacky personality and you could make it better. Hello Nurse was a blank slate, there's nothing to stop them from giving her a personality, maybe she's in Doctors Without Borders like they said and they can use her for satire about the health care system. At least those jokes would have some actual teeth especially coming from an actual "medical professional."
Except for Dot whose entire character needs to just be "feminism" now to make up for being the only girl, more than in the original (which still had its issues), every other character pictured here is a nonentity and Elmyra 2.0 or whatever the fuck is still annoying. Elymra and Mindy are annoy character types that people hate and they should stop trying to make it happen. This is why we don't want to watch real kids on tv.
