Those of us that are fic-readers and -writers, can you make any suggestions for IZ war stories? If there are any. I’m talking about the stuff that gets mentioned or hypothesized but never actually appears, like Zim/Skoodge/Red/Purple all being in training together, the Academy, etc. I’m tryin to write an Ender’s game type of story that follows them throughout their whole lives, starting on Irk. Not the same kind of plot though.
I do remember reading a few stories like this (not nearly enough, imo) that I liked. Especially one written as (Purple or Red’s?) journal before and after they became Tallest. You might know, they have to get life-threatening surgery to smush their guts up into their chest or something.
