>>120766464That makes no sense. And not in a good way
If Elise's agency knew about the Capitol storming beforehand and wanted to prevent any negative effects of it from happening, they'd either have prepared the police better, or broken up the rings that planned the thing in the first place.
Just what would having a high-level spy like Elise protect some politician who's not even a Kennedy or a Bush by pretending to be her even accomplish? It makes no sense, EVEN AS A JOKE. There's no motivation. Your set-up is a house built on shit.
And why would Elise, a dirty fucking CIA-esque spy, be pissed off by a politician lying for clout to begin with? Can you just imagine how much worse stuff she's done and tolerated, even at her expense?
And why would Elise think AOC was ungrateful for lying? She's not SUPPOSED to acknowledge Elise's presence. AOC would just be acting as she was SUPPOSED to, as she's EXPECTED to, what possible reason would Elise have to be annoyed?
For your joke to work, you would need to characterize the storming as a false flag operation masterminded by AOC, and need to portray AOC as being dickish to Elise to give Elise the motivation to humiliate her and ruin her plans
Thing is, that's not GOOD enough because it's not WEIRD enough. In the age of Pizzagate and 5G brainmelt waves, I can absolutely see a theory like that being thrown around by my very own grandma on Facebook. You need something totally absurd.
You need something like AOC being exposed as a lizard person who used 5G to hypnotize dozens of people with just the right kind of Facebook posts to storm the capital. The next step would be to say that she did so to discredit the GOP - which is a basic bitch move. You need to go even weirder. Make her motivation instead be to ACTUALLY topple the US gov't so the USSR (which I think still exists in this universe) can make their move and expand into West Germany while the First World is paralyzed by the crippled US leadership
