Dracula got his powers from attending the Scholomance (a Romanian legend). It's a
magical wizarding school that's run by the Devil. It accepts 10 students at a time, they have a 7 year contract, the school is a castle underground and the students can't be exposed to sunlight. When they graduate they become sorcerers that control the weather. At the end of the studying, one student is chosen to stay behind and become the Devil's personal assistant.
