Who would even want it at this point? The time for a revival was 10 years ago if at all. Any effort to go back would result in people seeing that what they remember of the show is a handful of touchy feely episodes in a sea of wacky nonsense, and their love of it is heavily conflated with nostalgia for youth and decades of fan art fladerizing the cast's characteristics through porn.
The two alternatives to a revival season would either be trying their best to replicate the adventure of the week shenanigans and upsetting the fans who just want what they falsely remember as "mature stories" and to see all the "loose ends" tied up. Or they do go all in on giving the fans the answers they crave to things like Tera, which would inevitably carry the burden of being an anti climax to many because it's taken so long.
But even if it was all perfect, and just as good as the old stuff to the point that it blends seamlessly, the fans who've so long craved it would still feel empty because they themselves have changed. They're grown adults (at least they're supposed to be) and they can't recapture the innocent feeling of sitting at home on a Friday night with the weight of school off their shoulders and a whole weekend to look forward to. Cell phones, bills, social media, it would all be a series of weights around their ankles preventing them of ever experiencing the high of carefree youth they so desperately long for.
