>>120718661>Giants lore>Space exterior lore>Other places outside from Trollberg like Tofoten and all those ruins >More creaturesThere's a lot of unused stuff in the comics. However, I don't know how much they can add before it starts feeling bland and without cohesion. In the book all the creatures match one of these qualifications
>They are part of everyday life but people don't acknowledge them because they are hidden or they don't really care about them >They are connected the giantsThe forest giants are descendant from the old giants, the bargests are forest giant pets, the elves fought a war against them and one of them is a national hero, the trolls, nissas and the dragons are descended from old giants. The only two creatures in the book that doesn't match this are the salt lions and raven, but they match the second point I mentioned, and Raven gets a free pass because he's a foreign creatures, he doesn't belong to the scandinavian landscape. I would say also the rat king but he also match the second point.
The Vitra are fine, I guess, they are portrayed like one panel joke in the comics, there's not much to develop about them, but they are treated like rats so I think it's fine too.
So it's not like they can add everything, there's certain rules. I've already have problems how the animated series is handling the hildaverse lore: The plant guy from the vikings episode felt bland along with the vikings. The Kraken didn't really add anything interesting or new.
