I've come across a few variations on this, and I just don't get it. Rick goes around causing death and destruction on a universal scale, shrugging it off because the people that die don't matter to him, nothing matters, he's the smartest there is, yadda yadda yadda.
What's Bean done that deserves "calling out"? And how is she an "invincible irresponsible jackass"? The worst she does is fail to shape herself up into what she wants to be, but fuck, that's not uncommon. She may go "for fuck's sake, why are you people so terrible?" and then go off to get drunk instead of doing something about it, but hell, that's a flaw not something that needs to be punished.
You tell Rick "hey, there's a bunch of innocent people being held against their will!" he'll say something like "well Morty, freak shows are an important part of this ecosystem, we've always had freak shows, back on Earth we just change the names to make us feel better" before doing nothing about it. Bean sighed, grabbed her mallet, and broke everyone out of the Freak Show. She might groan and sigh her way through heroics, but she'll man up and at least try to do the right thing (at least when it's not a suicide mission).
Seriously, her life is a smoldering crater already, I'm not sure what more "comeuppance" or "getting called out" is needed.
