>>120312263>>120312326Groening was never a story writer, let alone mystery, he did comedy cartoons so I am not surprised it sucks ass. South Park's non-episodic seasons are the weakest ones too, though even at its worst it has more joke per episode than Disenchantment in a season.
None of the questions are even interesting in my opinion and I don't relate much with any state or party in this series.Groening tries to do one of those series that only have one redeeming factor which is their big revelation at the very end but he forgets that this isn't a movie. People need something to be hyped for, each season needs a right to exist on its own and so far they didn't.
There are no concluded seasonal stories, there are no big twists or cliffhangers either imo, or not interesting to hype me up. And there is no comedy because it tries to be some discount epic when it's actually just medieval zombie simpsons.
I have no hope the reveals will even be good enough to make up for anything. This series doesn't have genuine mysteries to speculate about. Like unreliable narrators, things that do not add up, red herrings. It's all just a "why do those other guys do this" "what do they want". None of this feels plot twisty and I doubt it will be. But even if was, you don't need three damn seasons to build up for this.
