>>120210167>Either that or have him go on as a villain for another seasonthat wouldn't work either because then Grace just lets a psycho wander around, and all the actions he does later will just make her an even more despicable character we are supposed to care about.
Not to mention how it was already bad enough they didn't close Hazels story before cancellation, making it so that not only one, but two main characters have unresolved storylines would make that bad ending even worse.
He also really has no intimidation at all without the kids around, he isn't strong enough on his own to take on other nulls and he doesn't have the charisma to gather more people to his side. Had Simon left, he would have died of starvation or be killed by a null from another car.
That's another issue, the show presents Simon as this dangerous psychopath, but he really is just a stupid white boy who can only hurt people when they are in a vulnerable position. He doesn't work as a villain for many reasons, and one of them is that he really has absolutely nothing about himself that can stand against anyone who isn't a child. So you cant have him as a dangerous psycho wandering around the train killing innocent people/nulls because anyone could take him down.
