>>120070296You understand just because tropes and cliche's exist doesn't mean that they should be done poorly. You can have the list revealed or misunderstanding trope done way better. This movie, like most times people hate the trope, it's a misunderstanding that could have been fixed by about 5 seconds of dialogue, not to mention the idea that just because he got something in return doesn't undo the massive amounts of good change he was responsible for. I liked the movie but this film did it poorly, and when most films implement a trope poorly like this one it makes the trope itself seem like shit to most.
