Nothing big, just not sure, something about the proportions I was giving her wasn't working for me- this doodle I did yesterday, for instance. This new one works a lot better- went back to roots to the first few drawings of her and the elements of her face (Nico Robin nose, Hello Nurse-like eyes, thick-ish Warren lips) and it's worked for me

I'm one of the anons that mentioned a coc/fighter. At this moment, it's a pipedream, developing a stylized 2D fighter ala Darkstalkers, with no resources or artists, is impossible. Even if we had a team available, balancing a 2D fighter is a daunting task, a beat 'em up or a platform fighter would be '''''easier''''' to produce, maybe even a Power Stone type arena fighter, that genre feels right for a diverse roster of superheroes with different ways to move. Again, pipedream.
A fighter, a celebration of characters, would be a great way to generate more interest in /coc/, maybe more art. Once more, pipedream.
If anyone wants to discuss the 'game', the genre, the systems, etc, I'm down for it, I would even do some concept art, even if it goes nowhere, we get some new art.

That's not so much my issue, I think it's fine for each artist to drift designs away into what they feel comfortable and interested in. It's just the way I was drifting wasn't working for me, but going back to that original concept helped me find a way to draw Colette I liked (rather than, say, base it entirely on Magi or Psuedo's versions)

I don't see any harm in that, like you said even if nothing comes of it, we still get more /coc/ art. If you could do some character turnaround sheets, since I will be making them into 3D model that would be nice, also some environment concept art would be good. I started on a lovely ladybug model a while back, I'll try and finish her and post some animations later, even if I don't start on the game anytime soon.

Never played it, but reminds me a bit of kung fu chaos, which I loved, but I would rather keep it simple either a smash clone or a 2.5D beat'em up.

This isn't related to the thread's discussion about a fighting game. But I won a publishing deal with a software developer to turn my game prototype into a console release. I want to use this opportunity to take the stuff I produced for a /coc/ project and make it into its own thing. Partly because I'm attached to who and what I worked on, partly because it's easier for me to produce a story in AN/VN format rather than as a multi-page multi-panel comic.

Just putting this here so I can remember a few things.

I nerfed it for storytelling purposes. Also drawing Jetpack Viking beating up Manny is more entertaining.

I was also entertaining an idea like, a bag of cocaine just falling out of Manny's stuffing after they hug because it leads to another story about Nicky's drug abuse and his bad influence on Manny.

I'm planning on it being a constant gag that Manny will always feel like a minority... because he is. He's basically the only one of his kind. He doesn't know that though, which can either make it funny or sad. Or both.

Samefag is irrelevant in this episode. He only pops up every now and then but I want more exposure to other Sageworthy characters. He'd pop up in the plot armor episode though.

I do feel Samefag is overused and often placed in scenarios where his skill set isn't really what's being used. It feels the Master Baiter would be more of the instigator type while Samefag's role is to perpetuate misinformation to keep the momentum going for whatever idiocy is fueling IHM at the time.

Nothing big to drive the threads. BQ sustained it's own threads for over a year before being merged into /coc/. Same with Supermoms although that seems like an eternity ago. GG also drove a lot of these threads to bump limit when she was first introduced but there's just nothing to coalesce around.
