Cuz I hate it But Jasper's skin as a gem changed to be patchy as a representation of her corruption, because their forms are just the projection of thair psyche. Her psyche is damaged, thus how she projects herself physically would change as well.
Why the fuck would a human Jasper have vitiligo? I would say self harm scars, such as clawing at her face, legs, and arms, would be a more accurate representation of a mentally damaged human version.
It would show that she's not all there, or in completely in control, that she has moments of weakness/instability, so she harms herself because she doesn't feel like she is part of herself.
Like, she would claw her face thinking "This isn't my face. I don't want this face. I need to get it off." Because to Her it looks different, it's not hers. But to others, everything looks the same, aside from the scars.
