>>119715822Normal but not unhealthily obese or rather just plain PREGNANT women is the extremely old fetish. Huge lardasses that would die of a heart attack before modern medicine is incredibly new, or at least that fairly normal thing pushed to extremes.
For example, your picture is not morbidly obese, that's not a 700 pound woman or anything. She looks like she could be pregnant or a little chubby. In the ancient past, a woman being 75 pounds dripping wet full grown was horrible, if you missed out on a few calories of a hunter/gatherer session (or even a harvest a bit later), which happened all the time, she was fucking dead. Later on, people with money and a comfortable existence were the ones who could most get a little chubby.
Today, the wealthy can do crazy shit to keep unnaturally thing because they don't need to store a bit of fat just to survive, if they're so skinny they have fertility trouble there's modern medicine to help with that, etc. Meanwhile poor people are stuck with fast food. It's the reverse of what it was through most of human existence. The "thin person" fetish is new and more about culture and status signalling than anything to do with evolution. That said, this doesn't mean being attracted to people who are so fat they're about to die is in any way normal, just people who can get through a period of famine, if needed. Plus it was once a huge power and status indicator and signal to be a little bit chubby, culture the opposite of what it is now.
A lot of fetishes meanwhile are just random and pointless. There's a theory that foot fetishes are way more common during times of diseases because it's safer to fixate on something like that when plague is rampant or STDs, but that could be bullshit, it might happen for no reason at all plus culture.
