You won’t end up like her if you at least manage to have goals and are brave enough to accept growth. At the very least, you’ll be marginally better than her.
A good example is Will, the guy she ends up with in the end. He was a weed dealer nearing his thirties with no life goals or aspirations. He decides it’s time to fix his shit after a particularly bad experience at his job and as he’s nearing his 30s. By the end of the series, he joins his friends baking business and ends up in a committed relationship with Eve.
