>>119493696I'd make him someone who sees things as some sort of game or challenge to overcome. It's an ability for a trickster paired with a personality that perfectly plays into that. Just giving them some skewed view of reality makes the character more fun in my opinion. That's what I did with the character up their at least.
I honestly love abilities like that though. It sounds really weird at first but then you see how scary that shit is. The challenge with those is putting in place limitations so that the character can't just do anything which is what you did with the whole living things can't enter thing.
I had an idea for my character's string power that could be really stupid so I might have to save it.
Basically the string aren't actually string but boundaries and they follow something I made up called the Law of Boundaries: All entities are actually a collection of boundaries of varying form which is why things differ from one another. Basically the 'string' is actually an outline which can be used to unravel or control the outlines of other things. Like a ridiculous example would be using the string to remove the boundaries from something, therefore removing its identity and effectively erasing them.
My point is that certain powers can be really stupid and, due to their stupid nature, extremely broken.
