>>119484532>Part of her molding and brainwashing was to backstab and fuck over everyone around her in order to (heh) claw her way to power.
I'm not saying the horde never influenced Catra at all, obviously, it did, but it was never enough to make her like Vegeta where there was no chance of hope or happiness for them. Catra may have had difficulty just turning good magically, but she was never a complete monster like Vegeta, she always knew what she was doing was bad and didn't care, she just did it out of spite. Not to mention how she was always fucking over people to the point where she had the power to just...leave. Vegeta could never leave because Frieza would kill him, Catra could have easily said "fuck this" multiple instances and nobody could have stopped her.>That's how everything worked in the Horde
And yet, as the other anon said, nobody else except Catra ended up like her. It's not the horde, it's her. She chose to be like that, and while I can understand she had her trauma and backstory, none of it really is impeding her from turning good. She ends up turning to their side anyway, so all she did for 4 seasons was more of a tantrum rather than someone who was forced to be that way.
At the same time, Adora gave her chances to join constantly, and she had two genuine friends with Scorpia and Entrapta. She chose to fuck over all of them, nobody forced her to do so, so its all on her. At least Vegeta betraying his allies can be explained because of Sayain nature and how they all are dicks who just care about each other. Nappa and Raditz probably would have done the same to Vegeta if they could.>But the thing is, they were in some kind of mind-altering pocket dimension, they showed how it fucked with their heads
Isn't she responsible for that pocket dimension existing in the first place?
