However (even though he was involved in some of them), the cross-overs were fun - the Dr. Who/Borg/ST-TNG one was fun, as was the ST-LoSH and the Trek Green Lantern one.
Some of the comics based on the classic show are fun, but yeah are very hit and miss. And I'm only talking about the recent IDW runs, I have never looked at the older issues which have now been collected, by DH, IDW and others.

Calendar Man
Sweet Sunday, Santas! You might remember it from me mentioning it the last three times, but December 6th is actually Saint Nick's Day,which later got mixed in with Christmas, since they were both in December, and thus Santa Claus was born, so what better way to talk about it than to focus on all the gifts this day has given us? Especially since December 6th, 1964 was the day when the first of Rankin-Bass's famous holiday specials, Rudolph the Red-Noses Reindeer, was aired for the first time. So maybe one of our established streamers will interrupt their regular scheduled programming to show it? Maybe it will happen if you really believe. Let's go way back to the gift Americans gave to themselves - on December 6th, 1884, the capstone was set on the Washington Monument, finishing 36 years of work - although it took four more years to be done with all the internal work and whatnot. And finally, a gift from the British to the Irish - on December 6th, 1921 the Anglo-Irish Treaty was signed, ending the three-year-long war for independence, and exactly a year later, on December 6th, 1922, the Irish Free State was born. It would later become Ireland in 1937 after a new constitution was penned.

An updated version of From All of Us to All of You is shown on Christmas eve every year and is almost always the most watched program of the year.
We also have a rather special way of celebrating Saint Lucy's day on the 13th of December. Groups, mostly choirs or school children, dress up as Saint Lucy and her entourage. There's usually only one Saint Lucy and if it's a prominent group like a big church choir she's often elected by mail in or online votes and the election is advertised in the local paper. Saint Lucy wears a white robe, a red sash and a crown with candles in it (real or electric). Her entourage consist of maids, who wear white robes, blue sashes and glitter crowns, star boys, who wear white robes and large cone hats with stars on them and carry wands with a star on top of them, gingerbread men and santas/nissar.
These groups hold concerts and will sometimes go on a walking tour through town and visit various schools, business and care homes, though most concerts are held in local churches or school auditoriums. They perform a variety of Christmas and Saint Lucy's Day songs and give out gingerbread cookies and saffron buns.

Just finished my rewatch of the LoSH cartoon. It's still pretty good, though you can tell that it was written for younger kids and wasn't allowed to be particularly complex or interconnected. Some really stupid episodes, some really good ones. The most annoying part of it was that they kept using human/humanity to refer to aliens. In particular when Brainiac 5 suddenly becomes "human" at the end, which is a plot that I really want to know the endgame of. And Superman X was very superfluous.

It still happens to me, but now I know what's causing it for the most part, and that helps to deal with it a little. It's no bother. People need to let stuff out, even if it's just to us in the cheer threads, and one person talking about stuff might just help someone else deal with their stuff. Marvelous Monday, Mesdames et Messieurs! December 7th is all abut conflict. And how could it be any different if it was on December 7th, 1941 when the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service conducted a raid on US Naval base in Pearl Harbor, forcing America into World War II: The Worldening. Thankfully, the date was spared the greater atrocity, because Michael Bay's "Pearl Harbor" was released in May. But conflicts don't just start, they also, sometimes, end. Like on December 7th, 1965, when Pope Paul VI and Patriarch Athenagoras I (the head of the Eastern Orthodox Church) officially revoked the excommunications their predecessors put on each other way, WAY back during the Great Schism of 1054. And, just for a laugh, let's look back on December 7th, 1837, when Battle of Montgomery's Tavern took place in Toronto - the first and only battle of the Upper Canada Revolution, concluded when the rebels were quickly and soundly defeated.

It was a Gurren Lagann DVD (a box containing the full anime). I can't really see if someone gifted it to me, and nobody wrote anything. Can someone confirm it or if it was just a bug? And say if everything went right? My code is 14UTW8NJEH4H3 (.it). Anyway, I'm reallt thankful to all of you, this thread is awesome.
